School Board Elections November 2, 2014 - Information for voters

School board elections will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at which time voters in the territory of the English Montreal School Board (EMSB) will elect commissioners in 10 wards  and vote directly for the position of Chairman. 

Any parent who has a child registered in an EMSB youth sector elementary or high school as of September 30, 2014. In addition, any elector who made a choice prior to the November 2007 elections and had his/her name entered on the EMSB electoral list is included. These individuals would have signed a special form. If you do not recall doing so, you can verify whether your name appears on the list during the upcoming revision process by calling 514-483-7200 ext. 8800 (EMSB election oce). It must either be mailed or brought to the EMSB Administration Building in person as an original signature is required.

Step 3:  Make sure it arrives by mail or in person by Tuesday, October 14 before 10 p.m at EMSB Head Oce, 6000 Fielding Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, H3X 1T4 Or from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8 and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, October 10 at one of these four locations:

Meet-the-candidate evening for EMSB election

A debate is scheduled on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 8 pm at Merton School, 5554 Robinson Ave. 

The candidates for Ward 4, Syd Wise and Warren Budning, will be there. Ward 4 represents the territory of Côte Saint-Luc.
