Canada Day postponed due to heat wave

Canada Day postponed

Canada Day info

The Côte Saint-Luc Canada Day celebration scheduled for Sunday, July 1, 2018, has been postponed due to the high heat and humidity. We will announce a new date for the event later this summer. (Note: The Canadian Citizenship Ceremony will continue as planned at the Aquatic and Community Centre at the scheduled hour. The unveiling of plaque for 150 Trees for Canada's 150th which was to take place on Sunday, July 1 during Canada Day festivities is postponed due to the high heat and humidity.)

Deciding to postpone this event was a difficult decision given all the time and effort put into planning. Although it is disappointing, we believe it is the right decision in order to protect the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, the public, and the various performers and entertainers.
