Access to information

The City Clerk is responsible for the Access to Information requests according to the requirements of the law. Consequently, any request for information or documents should be addressed to the city clerk and clearly state the nature and the object of the request.

The City Clerk will then study the request and will render the decision in writing on all request for access to documents that are not automatically public in virtue of the law.

The City Clerk has 20 days to render a decision and has the possibility of extending the delay by an additional 10 days. All requests for revision on the decision must be sent to the Commission d'accès à l'information within 30 days of the decision.
