• All cheques must be made payable to the City of Côte Saint-Luc. Payment by Visa, MasterCard and Interac are also available for the deposit portion only. The post-dated portion can only be paid by cheque.

• Upon registration, a deposit of 50% of the total amount owing is required in addition to a post-dated cheque, dated for May 14, 2010, covering the balance.

• For Maimonides sports camp and Trudeau creative arts camp, sessions A and C will include one field trip, whereas sessions B and D will include a special event at Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park.

• The deadline to register for any session is the previous Wednesday at noon, in order to allow for time to finalize group lists. Past this deadline, registration will be accepted pending availability. A 5 percent premium will apply.

• An early bird registration will be in effect from April 7 to May 28. The regular registration fee will be in effect as of May 31. These rates are 10% higher than our early bird fees.

EARLY DROP-OFF/LATE PICK-UP SERVICE

An 8am early morning drop off service is provided for working parents at an extra cost of $13(R), $16(NR) per week. A late pick-up service is provided for working parents at an extra cost of $16(R), $20(NR) per week until 5:30pm. All children must be dropped off and picked up from the park at which they are registered.

 

ADDITIONAL SUPERVISION FOR DAY CAMP

Residents who’s children require additional supervision to participate in the city’s 2010 day camp programs should contact the Parks and Recreation Department. Funding may be available through the community organization Altergo. The deadline to submit an application for funding is March 5, 2010.

 

2010 YITZHAK RABIN NURSERY CAMP (Age 2 to 4) 

A wide variety of exciting activities including special events, daily swim in the wading pool (weather permitting) and much more! Half day and full day options are available. Please note that our lifeguard is on duty at all times.

2010 TRUDEAU CREATIVE ARTS CAMP (Age 5 to 12) 

This camp offers a great mix of arts and crafts activities, as well as daily swimming lessons. Activities led by specialists include cooking, science and music, day workshops and more. A certain number of sports and fitness activities will be included in the children’s routine.

2010 MAIMONIDES SPORTS CAMP (Age 5 to 12) 

This camp is designed for children with a true interest in a variety of sports and recreational activities. Sport activities include tennis, soccer, basketball and swimming lessons. Every day, campers participate in a Red Cross swim kids program in our 50 meter pool. Camp-wide theme days including color war, sleep-unders, 60’s day, superhero day and many more, ensure that every day is exciting and entertaining.

2010 C.I.T. PROGRAM (Age 13 to 15)

Participate in a Counsellor Training Program (3 out of 5 days), under the guidance of a trained leader. For the remaining 2 days, CITs will assist the counsellors with a group of children based on a park of their choice.

2010 DYNAMIX KIDVIVOR ADVENTURE CAMP (Age 5 to 12)

Campers will work in teams to conquer some of the most creative and exciting challenges known to kids. It is non-stop and action packed with obstacle courses, innovative sports, giant puzzles and of course some of Dynamix most famous challenges. All the while, campers will be earning beads, bandanas and other cool rewards for displaying sportsmanship, cooperation and positive values. At the end of the day, Kidvivor is about having fun and learning what it takes to be part of a successful team.

2010 FORTISSIMO MUSIC CAMP (Age 6 to 14)

The Fortissimo Music Camp, organized and run by Music Academy Fortissimo under the auspices of the City of Côte Saint-Luc, is an intense summer program for lovers of music, beginners and aspiring young musicians: singers, violinists, cellists, guitarists and pianists. Its faculty includes renowned professors who are committed to guiding our students in attaining their musical goals. Each session includes: group classes in music history and theory, recitals, competitions, coaching in voice and stage presence, arts and crafts, theatre and more. For an additional cost, you can sign your child up for at least five 30-min. individual lessons in the instrument of your choice. The session will be concluded with a concert.

SUMMER SPECIALTY SPORT DAY CAMPS

 

2010 AKADEMA ELITE BASEBALL CAMP (Age 10 to 16)

A typical day at the camp will include players being taught proper stretching, throwing, base running, fielding, hitting mechanics through various drills and stations. Games will be played in the afternoons and will include instruction from head instructor Ray Callari – San Fransisco Giants Eastern Canadian Scout, along with other professional instructors.

2010 MEADOWBROOK GOLF CAMP (Age 6 to 16)

The Golf Camp program is an intensive 3-day golf clinic. Our goal is to provide beginners with an introduction to the game of golf, allowing  hem to gain new skills, while sharpening the skills of a more experienced golfer. Instruction by Gerry Ferguson, head club professional at Meadowbrook Golf Club. This camp will follow the instructional components as a part of the Future Links National Canadian Golf Program. Campers must provide their own transportation to Meadowbrook Golf Club for 9am.

Session 1: June 28, 29, 30      Session 2: July 5, 6, 7
Session 3: August 9, 10, 11     Session 4: August 16, 17, 18

$285 per session (3 days/week)

This is an affiliate sports program conducted by Meadowbrooke Golf course. All cheques are made payable to "Gerry Ferguson".

2010 'REAL SPORTS' SUMMER SOCCER CAMP (Age 7 to 16)

Be part of the most successful summer soccer specialty camps taught by international staff (Carlos Sandoval and Cristian-Horst Schuller) who have played in world cup and international soccer competition! Each registrant will receive a prize each week, as part of their participation. Limited registration, so register early. Players who register before April 30, 2010 will receive a Real Madrid original t-shirt free of charge.

2010 TENNIS AND SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY ACADEMY DAY CAMP (Age 5 to 17)
