Halloween Skating Party on Ice 2009

On Friday October 30, the Parks and Recreation Department held its’ annual Halloween Skating Party on Ice. This event was free of charge for anyone who dressed up in a costume. Participants of all ages had a great time skating, while the music was playing in the background. This year's event was four hours in duration, which allowed people to come and go as they pleased. One of the main highlights was the costume contest, in which prizes were awarded every hour to those who dressed up in the most creative costumes.

Funds were also collected for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, through the sale of the Parks and Recreation Department bracelets. All children left with both a treat and a smile on their face, as a good time was had by all.
