Join EMS
Côte Saint-Luc Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is looking for new members to join the team of volunteer medics.
Members must be active, eager to get involved, ready to learn and enjoy taking on challenges and making a difference in the community. No previous first-aid training is required.
The next course will begin in January 2008.
Following the in-class sessions, members will undergo an on-the-road apprenticeship, responding to real calls and putting into practice the skills they learned in class, such as CPR, defibrillation, airway management, traumatic injury assessment, oxygen administration and more.
Members are encouraged to perform at least one shift per week, in addition to class time during their training period.
For more information on joining this dynamic team and learning the skills that can save a life, contact the EMS recruiting team at 514-485-6956 or by e-mail at ems@cotesaintluc.org .
