Montreal Juniors game at the Samuel Moskovitch Arena
On September 3, 2009, the Montreal Juniors QMJHL team hosted the Foreurs from Val-d'Or at the Samuel Moskovitch Arena. Much to the delight of the close -to-capacity crowd, the Juniors scored the game-winning goal with 3 seconds left in the third period, to win the game 4 to 3. The event was held as a fundraiser for the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation with a portion of the revenue from ticket sales going to support this great cause.
