GENERAL INFORMATION
The Côte Saint-Luc Municipal Swimming Pool is a 50 meter pool with a large shallow end and three diving boards in the deep end (2 one meter diving boards and 1 three meter diving board). There is also a large grassy grounds which provides plenty of space for eating and relaxing.
The pool can be rented for private functions. The rental fee of $125 (plus taxes) includes three lifeguards for a two-hour duration. If additional lifeguards are needed due to the number of swimmers, the lessee will be responsible for the costs, at a rate of $20 (plus taxes) per lifeguard per hour.
SWIMMING POOL RULES
1. All children who are eight (8) years of age or younger must be accompanied by a guardian to enter the Facility. A guardian must be at least fifteen (15) years of age. Guardians are responsible for their children / charges at all times.
2. All children who are eight (8) years of age or younger must be directly supervised in the water by a guardian who must be within arm’s reach at all times.
3. Children aged seven (7) or eight (8) years of age can become exempt from rule #2 by successfully passing a swimming proficiency test administered by Côte Saint-Luc Municipal Swimming Pool management.
4. No personal floatation devices (PFD’s) may be used unless pre-approved by Côte Saint-Luc Municipal Swimming Pool management.
5. No water guns, balls or toys are permitted in the pool at any time unless authorized by the lifeguard on duty.
6. No running on the pool deck is permitted. No pushing, shoving or rough play is permitted in the facility at any time.
7. Hanging on to lane ropes is not permitted.
8. Nobody may jump or dive into the shallow end of the pool. Jumping and diving are permitted in the deep end of the pool when authorized by the lifeguard on duty.
9. Those using the water slide must be in a seated position facing forward at all times. Patrons must wait at the bottom of the water slide stairs until the person before them enters the water.
10. Only one person is permitted on the diving board at the same time. One bounce per dive. After the dive, swim directly to the ladder.
11. The lap lanes are for lap swimming only. Lap swimmers must be fourteen (14) years of age and over.
12. Patrons must shower before entering the water.
13. Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers in the pool. Regular diapers are not permitted.
14. Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Facility.
15. Eating is allowed only in the designated canteen or picnic table areas.
16. No smoking is permitted in the Facility.
17. Chairs and baby strollers must be kept at least four (4) feet (1.2 meters) away from the edge of the pool.
18. Failure to respect the pool rules and/or City policies may result in a patron being removed from the Facility and/or being refused re-admission to the Facility.
SEASONAL GUEST MEMBERSHIP FOR THE POOL
Residents who are CSL Fun Card holders can take advantage of this new season pool pass for their non-resident children, grandchildren, parents or grandparents. This new card has been developed to meet the needs of CSL Fun Card members who have grandchildren, children, parents or grandparents that wish to join them at the pool while the CSL Fun Card holder is present. We want our pool to be a place where residents can host their family, encouraging three-generational socialization at a reasonable cost.
One seasonal guest membership : $25
Two seasonal guest memberships (members living at the same address): $40
Three or more seasonal guest memberships (members living at the same address): $60
Seasonal guest membership is only valid for use at the Côte Saint-Luc Municipal Swimming Pool and the Yitzhak Rabin Wading Pool in 2010. Cardholders must be accompanied to the facility by at least one CSL Fun Card holder when at the facility. Proof of relationship to CSL Fun Card holder is required at the time of purchase. CSL Fun Card holders must be present to buy the seasonal guest membership.

Swim team
The CSLMSP Sharks is a summer league competitive swim team that competes in the NAA summer league program. The team will compete in 5 summer swim meets, including one home swim team meet. Swim team members are provided with an equipment bag, bathing cap and towel. Must be able to swim 25 meters unassisted to be on the team. Swim meets T.B.A.
