Public Notice: Application for assessment of conformity

Pursuant to sections 110.4 and 137.10 of the Act respecting land use planning and development, (R.S.Q., c. A-19.1.), public notice is hereby given, to qualified voters entitled to have their names entered on the referendum list of the City of Côte Saint-Luc, of the following:

1.    During its Council meeting held July 12, 2010, the City of Côte-Saint-Luc adopted a By-law amending  the Zoning by-law number 2217-36.

2.    Any qualified voter of the territory of the City of Côte-Saint-Luc may apply, in writing, to the Commission municipale du Québec for an assessment of the conformity of the By-law amending  the Zoning by-law number 2217-36 with the City’s planning program number 2316.

3.    The application must be transmitted within 30 days after publication of this notice to the:

4.    Where the Commission receives applications from at least five qualified voters in the territory of the City, the Commission shall, within 60 days of the expiry of this 30-day period, give its assessment of the conformity of the said By-law number 2217-36 with the planning program.

5.    Where the Commission does not receive applications from at least five qualified voters in the territory of the City for an assessment of conformity with the planning program, the By-law number 2217-36 will be deemed to be in conformity with the program from the expiry of the period prescribed in that section.
