Homemade Wine Tasting Contest 2009
The Homemade Wine Tasting Contest took place on October 7, 2009, at 7pm in the Harold Greenspon Auditorium of the Bernard Lang Civic Centre. The well-known wine connaisseur Bill Zacharkiw of The Gazette was the official taster. Special thanks to Mosti Mondiale for sponsoring the event.
The award winners were as follows:
Winner for the red wine category: Pat Cerulli (2008 Rosso)
Runner-up for the red wine category: A.L. Garellek + Sons (1998 Merlot)
Winner for the white wine category: Antonio Spino
Runner-up for the white wine category: Joseph Panunto + Paolo Biasini (2008 Chardonnay)
