The City of Côte Saint-Luc will highlight and celebrate the people who build and maintain the infrastructure in the city during the second annual Public Works Week, from May 19 to May 24.

National Public Works Week activities will be taking place across Canada during the same week. Last year’s Côte Saint-Luc Public Works Week was awarded the top prize among cities with a population of 50,000 or fewer by the Canadian Public Works Association, the group representing public works professionals in Canada.

The mega garage sale is at the Confederation Annex building behind the Samuel Moskovitch Arena (6985 Mackle Rd.). Come and find a bargain, there will be 60 tables to browse.

Come and meet members of EMS, police, fire department, public security, vCOP, and other services. Kids and adults will enjoy the emergency vehicles and a few special surprises. Also learn life-saving techniques from EMS at 12:30pm.

The Public Works Fair supports the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. A donation gives kids access to barbecue food, real vehicles, inflatables, face painting, flower planting, arts and crafts and more.
