Bike safety campaign 2009

As part of the 2009 Bike Safety Campaign this summer, police and two police cadets (Marie-Hélène Masse and Frédéric Bélanger) of Neighbourhood Police Station 9 ont organized several activities for young people.

Of note was the Génivélo event on July 30, 2009 at Donald Fletcher Park. The event helped teach kids safety rules and the importance of wearing a bike helmet.

During the event, the police distributed many bike helmets, gifts, basketballs and soccer balls (part of Project Rebondi).
