How to place the blue bin for collection

Place your blue bin at the edge of your driveway (but not on the street or sidewalk) with the logo facing the street and the wheels facing the home—just like your brown bin. Leave at least 2 feet (0.6 meters) on either side of the blue bin, which is needed for the mechanical arm to safely lift your blue bin. Make sure nothing else on your driveway is in the way. Finally, ensure that nothing is covering the lid.

During the winter months, ensure that your blue bin is not on the sidewalk, as this will impede snow clearing operations. Also, please ensure that your snow removal contractor does not accidentally knock over or move your blue bin from the correct position at the edge of your driveway.
