How to dispose of rechargeable batteries
The City of Côte Saint-Luc participates in the Call2Recycle program of the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC). from portable phones, cell phones and other electronic devices at several drop-off locations in Côte Saint-Luc, including:
- Public Works office (7001 Mackle Rd. ), which is open from 7am to 3:30am from Monday to Thursday, and 7am to 3pm on Fridays
- Côte Saint-Luc Community Centre (7500 Mackle Rd. ), which is open weekdays from 8:30am to 4:30am

Rechargeable batteries are commonly found in the following devices:
- Cordless power tools
- Cellular and cordless phones
- Laptop computers
- Camcorders
- Digital cameras
- Remote control toys.
The Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation recycles the following battery chemistries: Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and Small Sealed Lead* (Pb).
