Côte Saint-Luc residents can now register online for recreation programs

Côte Saint-Luc, November 27, 2009 – Côte Saint-Luc residents will now have the opportunity to register for programs and reserve the city’s facilities online at CoteSaintLuc.org.

Beginning November 30 at 6:30pm, Côte Saint-Luc residents will be able to sign into their account and register for Parks and Recreation Department programs online for the winter session. Starting December 1, residents will also be able to check the availability of various recreational facilities, which will enable them to complete an online facility rental request.

“With online registration, residents will now be able to view, register and pay for recreation department programs from the comfort of their own home,” Mayor Anthony Housefather said. “This is part of a city-wide effort to develop online tools to make it easier to interact with the city government.”

If someone in your household has registered for a program in the past two years, call the Parks and Recreation Department to receive your username and password. If no one in your household has signed up for a program in the last two years, visit CoteSaintLuc.org to create an account for all members of your family.

“Online registration will provide our residents with another convenient way to register for our city programs,” said Councillor Mitchell Brownstein, the council member responsible for parks and recreation issues. “Of course, residents can still register at the Parks and Recreation Department Building.”

For further information, please contact the Côte Saint Luc Parks and Recreation Department at 514-485-6806 or visit the Parks and Recreation Building at 7500 Mackle Rd. weekdays between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
