Public Works

The City's of Public Works Department is located at 7001 Mackle Rd., just west of the Arena. Its role is to provide all the necessary maintenance services to the City's infrastructure and support to the City's various departments. In partnership with its permanent and temporary employees, as well as with numerous contractors and services providers, it deals with the following areas of activities:

Public buildings and City's vehicular fleet

Garbage Collection and Recycling

Parks, Playgrounds and Green Spaces

Roads, Snow removal and Sanitation

Engineering Division

 
The Public Works Department, thanks to its dedicated staff, ensures prompt service to the public. The management personnel carries out all the supervisory functions, prepares tenders and specifications for all procurement of goods or services and develops short, medium and long term strategic planning. Our superb secretarial staff is very supportive and our receptionist will be more than happy to help you with your requests.

The Department is open between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and until 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.

Key Reminders

It is also forbidden to deposit any type of debris onto the streets or sidewalks. Debris such as leaves, grass clippings are frequently illegally deposited or blown in such a way.
