Test sirens might be heard north of Côte Saint-Luc on Tuesday between 2pm and 3pm

On Tuesday, November 10 from 2pm to 3pm, residents of Côte Saint-Luc might hear test sirens sounding for seven times and a voice speaking over a loud speaker. The sound will be coming from the direction of the Taschereau Yards to the north of Côte Saint-Luc. It will last about 20 minutes.

The sounds are part of a Canadian National (CN) Railways emergency evacuation simulation. Although this test it will take place in the borough of Saint-Laurent, the sound may travel to parts of Côte Saint-Luc. CN last did this test four years ago.
