Library to kick off 40th anniversary, celebrations with outdoor concert

CÔTE SAINT-LUC, AUGUST 14, 2006 - The Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public library will formally kick off its 40th anniversary celebrations with a free outdoor concert on Sunday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Featured performers for the evening will be the Kleztory Band.  No tickets or passes are needed for this event. Just bring your own lawn chair.  In case of rain, the concert will be moved inside to Greenspon Auditorium. Given the limited capacity, only those individuals who have already obtained a rain pass will be able to attend.

There will be music indoors as well, with the popular violin and guitar duo Jeux de Cordes providing background music as people tour the new and improved library, which is undergoing extensive renovations. The owners of the soon-to-opened library café will also be providing samples of their food, beginning at 5 p.m.
