Côte Saint-Luc residents invited to Public Information Session on Cavendish Blvd. extension

CÔTE SAINT-LUC, OCTOBER 20, 2006 – The City of Côte Saint-Luc will hold a Public Information Session at City Hall (5801 Cavendish Blvd.) on Monday, October 30 at 8pm to update residents on the status of the Cavendish Blvd. extension project.

“The Cavendish extension is extremely important for the future of the west-end transportation network,” Mayor Anthony Housefather said. “Our City Council believes it is important to update residents on the status of the project and to give residents a chance to discuss their concerns and ask questions.”

The City Council will present the history and context of the Cavendish Blvd. extension project and the next steps.

“The Project Bureau has been working toward realizing this project and we invite all interested parties to participate to make it happen,” said Dida Berku, the Councillor in charge of the Cavendish Blvd. extension portfolio. “A northern exit from Côte Saint-Luc would be important to residents and would provide them with an alternate entry and exit route.”
