Côte Saint-Luc introduces a new monthly newsletter

CÔTE SAINT-LUC, NOVEMBER 8, 2006 – The City of Côte Saint-Luc launched on Tuesday the CSL Capsule, a monthly bilingual newsletter distributed in paper format and by e-mail.

The October issue features information on the new real estate valuations, the eco-friendly leaf collection program, a calendar of events and more.

“There are a lot of interesting services and important news we want our residents to be know about,” Mayor Anthony Housefather said. “I hope residents read the CSL Capsule each month and tell a neighbour about it.”

Residents can pick up a paper copy at City Hall (5801 Cavendish Blvd.), the Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library, the Samuel Moskovitch Arena and other public municipal spots. Residents can also subscribe to an electronic version of the newsletter, which is delivered each month by e-mail.

“We have a tremendous un-tapped opportunity to use e-mail to inform residents in a cost-effective way,” said Councillor Mike Cohen, who is responsible for the communications portfolio. “The cost of distributing information by e-mail is negligible. We also produce a limited number of paper copies because we know not everyone has a computer.”

Residents can sign up for the CSL Capsule by sending an e-mail to dlevine@cote-saint-luc.qc.ca.
