Registration begins in Côte Saint-Luc for summer day camps
Côte Saint-Luc, April 7, 2011 – Registration for Côte Saint-Luc day camps is now open weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Parks and Recreation Building (7500 Mackle Rd., corner Parkhaven Ave.).
Residents of Hampstead and Montreal West may register starting April 11. Other non-residents may register starting April 14.
Côte Saint-Luc operates seven summer day camps including the Yitzhak Rabin Nursery Camp, the Trudeau Creative Arts Camp, the Maimonides Sports Camp, the Côte Saint-Luc Tennis Camp, the Library Camp, the subsidized Singerman Day Camp, and the Counsellor-in-Training Camp. Côte Saint-Luc also hosts four other camps run by partner organizations including a baseball camp, a soccer camp, a golf camp, and an adventure camp.
“Our day camps are speciality based, which offers children a variety of choice according to their individual interests,” said Councillor Mitchell Brownstein, the council member responsible for Parks and Recreation issues. “Our campers benefit from our municipal facilities, like our outdoor swimming pool and wading pools, and our gymnasium, which is used on rainy days.”
Parents and children can watch videos and learn more about the day camps including the prices and session dates at www.CoteSaintLuc.org/en/DayCamp.
