Delightful evening of harp music in Côte Saint-Luc on August 23, 2012
Côte Saint-Luc, August 13, 2012– Harpist Gisèle Guibord will perform a concert of light classical music at the Harold Greenspon Auditorium (5801 Cavendish Blvd.) on Thursday, August 23 at 7 pm.
The concert is organized by the Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library. It is the second edition of the library’s Candlelight Concerts series. This event is free of charge.
Guibord has performed extensively across Canada and Europe. An established organist as well, she is a regular soloist for Les Concerts Spirituels at St. Joseph’s Oratory and has performed with various choirs and orchestras. She specializes in playing the Paraguayan and Celtic harps. She began her studies at the École de musique Vincent d’Indy and continued on at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.
She has seven recordings and continues to perform across Quebec and Ontario.
