Hot off the Press at the Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library

Côte Saint-Luc, November 16, 2012 –The Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library is offering two news-oriented programs in November and December.

First up, Hershey Dwoskin will discuss the story behind the story in world news. Dwoskin holds a B.A. from McGill in anthropology and political science as well as an M.A. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in Asian and African studies and has taught for over 30 years. The four-part series, In the Headlines, takes place on Friday afternoon at 2 pm on November 16, November 23, November 30 and December 7, 2012.

Next, Côte Saint-Luc Mayor Anthony Housefather will analyze the year’s top stories at The Year in Review on Thursday, December 14, 2012 at 2 pm. Mayor Housefather holds two law degrees from McGill University and an MBA from Concordia University and will provide his own unique insight into the headlines.

These events are free of charge.
