Fourth annual Build a Better You fundraiser on November 24

Côte Saint-Luc, October 8, 2013 – A Zumbathon fundraiser benefitting the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation will be held at the Côte Saint-Luc Gymnasium (7500 Mackle Rd.) on Sunday, November 24 at 11 am.

Organized by Dorit Hood, certified personal and group trainer, the 4th Annual Build a Better You fundraiser uses Zumba dance to promote fun and fitness for all ages.

“Dance is a great form of exercise,” said Dorit Hood, who helped raise $2,500 last year. “We’ll burn calories and release stress as we focus on the fantastic music around us.”

The Zumbathon will feature Zumba instructors Gilda Genis Triana, Elena Bertoldi, and Marcela Lia Wierny. For those who want to take part in the event, but don’t want to dance, other activities are offered in the gymnasium such as tag, jump rope, and more.

A donation of $25 is required to register. People can make a donation in advance at or donate at the door.
